Up for auction is a 127 piece sterling flatware set in Francis I pattern by Reed & Barton circa 1907. It is in excellent condition there are no dents, dings, scratches or problems of any kind. It is not monogrammed. It is marked Sterling and has Reed & Barton's old hallmarks with Lion, R and bird. This is a very early set with heavy pieces and the knives have old blunt style blades. The knives are also marked sterling and have old hallmarks on the side of the handles. There are 2 sets of 12 spoons which have the original gold washed in the bowls.
