The superbly engraved armorials (on both walls of the urn and cover) are for the O' Boyle family, one of the oldest and best known in Ireland with an impressive legacy including promotion of the orrery, an early form of planetarium, during the Age of Enlightenment. A tiny planet features in the engraved oval shield.
