Up for auction is a 180 piece estate sterling flatware set in Chantilly pattern by Gorham circa 1895. This is one of the very best Chantilly set i have ever seen. This set comes with a large storage chest. There are 15 pieces per place setting for 12 people. This set in excellent condition there are no dents, dings, scratches or problems of any kind. It is not monogrammed. It is marked Sterling and has old hallmarks with Lion, anchor and G the pieces are also marked Pat. 1895. This is a very early set with heavy pieces the knives have old style silver plate blades which are also in mint condition. It is very hard to find such large early sets in such a good condition .
