It includes a wealth of rare serving pieces, all contained in original fitted wooden silver chest. The Renaissance pattern was conceived a century ago to appeal to the American wealthy elite who have been called the "new Medicis" and certainly sought artistic inspiration from Renaissance Italy while idenifying with an earlier and equally powerful merchant class. By family repute, the offered service was formerly owned by Henry Clay Frick, and each piece is engraved with a discreet "F." All are in superb condition and fully signed by Tiffany & Company and with patent date for 1905.
