 Beautiful, ornate antique James R. Arminger & CO. Sterling Large, Heavy Repousse Bowl. Gorgeous and highly detailed server of 2 pounds and .08 ounces of silver. Fine Baltimore Silver. The bowl has one hairline in the silver near the top and the base has a couple of issues one dent on base of pedestal and very bottom of base is out of  round but nothing severe and can be easily restored to true form. This causes the bowl to tilt slightly to one side. (All shown in photographs)Bottom reads James R. Arminger & CO., a Crown with B underneath, 925 Sterling/1000, and the number 301A beautiful and rare piece from a fine Baltimore silversmith in the excellent repousse pattern. Has been in the family since 1885. Monogram in script on pedestal of 'CAS'.Measurements are: 10" diameter; base is 5 3/4"; and the depth of the bowl is 4 1/2".Item will be double boxed and fully insured. Not visible on the outside of the bowl, only on the inside.  Length is near 1/3". Is malleable when moved. (Is shown in photo #6, but is so fine that it does not appear to the eye here, but would upon close inspection- holding the vessel in your hand.)
