Each fork measures 7 3/4" (seven and three-fourths inches) long. No monogram, no monogram removal. The Dominick & Haff Virginia pattern was introduced in 1912. Each fork is marked with the Dominick & Haff trademark – a diamond, circle, and rectangle. Also, “STERLING”, “R”, and “PAT-D.12.” The forks are of substantial weight – total weight of the 4 forks together is 243 grams. Condition is Excellent. There are scratches consistent with age and use, and a few minor dings on the handles, but no dents or cracks. Neither tines nor handles on any fork are bent. Each piece was cleaned and hand- polished just before listing, and has a beautiful silver patina. Any dark spots/discolorations in the photos are shadows/reflections only.
