All of the other pieces are signed on the back of the handle with the early Gorham hallmark (1863-1890), Sterling, Pat. and the pattern name.  The two serving spoons and the ladle were later stamped "1941" which is the actual year that the patent was granted for the Sovereign pattern (see photo).   This exquisite set weighs 78.6 troy ounces/2445 grams.
