Silverware Reed & Barton ROMAINE -MONIQUE (33) ' Description REED & BARTON's MONIQUE / ROMAINE (1933) STERLING SILVER FLATWARE SET / 64  INDIVIDUAL PIECES + 3 SERVERS  This auction is for an extremely fine, antique (c.1930s) and hefty Sterling silver flatware set by Reed & Barton in their beautiful and rare MONIQUE (aka ROMAINE) pattern of 1933. This gorgeous set is found in very good, close to pristine condition. Sports the period monogram of the letter A in a very elaborate style / design. Set comprises the following pieces: 18 Teaspoons (6" long), 18 Salad / Pastry Forks, 9 Knives (9" long), 9 Place Forks (7 1/8" long), 12 solid Individual Butter Spreaders and 3 serving pieces (cream ladle, gravy ladle and Tablespoon).  All found in very good condition, sport no areas of unsightly damage or repairs, just light surface scratches and tarnish commensurate with age and gentle use. Please note blade to one knife is broken and needs to be re-bladed. Total solid weight of silver (no hollow handled knife has been included) is 2.175 Kgs.
