Here we are proud to offer an old folk art American hooked rug that is signed by Lilyan Hodge and as it shows it took her to years to complete this piece of art, started 1947 and finished 1949. Without any doubts this is one of the most unique folk art American hooked rug that we have ever offered on e bay, there are 48 different panels, each measures 18", therefore, the whole rug is 9'x12' to be exact. Another thing that has made this rug so beautiful is, its color combination which is so colorful, well balanced and harmonious. This hooked rug is made of cut cloth on burlap foundation and it is in very good shape, we had to restore some small areas, but they were so minor and no repair is visible whatsoever.
