Description
ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU SIGNED SILVER PLATE BUD VASE c1869   NICE ART NOUVEAU VICTORIAN QUADRUPLE PLATE BUD VASE * MADE & SIGNED BY AURORA MFG. CO ESTABLISHED IN 1869     *    SIZE & CONDITION THIS BUD VASE STANDS APPROX. 6 & 3/4 INCHES TALL MOUTH IS 1 & 1/2 INCHES WIDE  & BASE IS 2 & 1/4 INCH    VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION  AGED SILVER PLATE PATINA no dings, dents, damage or repairs, sits level  * This is a wonderful signed "AURORA" bud vase has a beautiful incised or etched Art Nouveau floral and leaf design flowing down the body of the tapered vase.  The only thing I can find wrong with it is that base is slightly out of true round and it leaks water at the collar on the base stem.  Truly a very nice Victorian piece we found in Harrisonville, MO several years ago.  We enjoyed it for years but now that we've downsized, it is time for her to find a new home.   * As always, should you have any additional questions or need more pictures please don't hesitate to email me.  I will have other vintage Silver Plate items I'll be listing in the up coming weeks.  So if you're interested, please watch my auctions each week.  I just may have something you would be interested in.  I will always combine shipping on multiple purchases when feasible. Thanks for looking and have a great day.   Payment by PayPal requested within 7 days of the close of the auction please.  OH residents are required to pay sales tax.  Any failure to pay or make arrangements to pay within 7 days will result in the buyer being reported as non payer to eBay for further action & item will be re-listed. All items are shipped within 2 business days of receipt of payment and are packed with ample amounts of bubble wrap and packing peanuts before shipment to ensure their safe arrival.  Even with such care, shipping insurance is strongly suggested as protection against any loss or damage suffered during shipment.  I am not liable for uninsured items.   In the unlikely event you should receive an INSURED item which has been damaged during shipment, please keep all packaging material, contact me immediately and I will forward all the necessary shipping information so you may take the necessary paperwork and packaging to the USPS or UPS to file a claim. Since almost all our auction items are antique, they are sold "AS IS", the generally accepted auction standard unless an item is grossly misrepresented. That's why we make every attempt to research, describe, and photograph in detail including remarks of any flaws, damage, or possible repairs.  Bid with confidence as we always guarantee age and authenticity. And as always, please feel free to E-mail us with any questions. We will be glad to combine shipping on multiple purchases. G W Antiques     We have been in business since 2000, a husband & wife team who simply started out collecting antiques some 20 years ago or so for our own personal collections.  After about 10 years, it became clear we were acquiring a lot more "Old Stuff" than we could ever reasonably use, display, or store within the confinements of our own home.  So for roughly 8 years we have sold our items a local antique shop and in 2005 we began listings our items on eBay.       Dealing almost exclusively in true vintage antique items, all the way from animated clocks to Vaseline glass, you will seldom see us offer new or reproduction items, but when we do, rest assured the item will be clearly described as such.  We are not in the business to deceive.    We never retouch, alter, or otherwise tamper with any items we offer.  We hand examine each piece we offer and describe in detail any suspect damage or repair.  Our pictures include front, back, top & bottom shots many times taken in both natural and artificial light so our buyers can accurately see what they are bidding on.  We take pride in researching what we list including providing the resources we use to authenticate the items we sell.  In most cases, we can even provide our buyers background on each piece we sell including how and where it was initially purchased.   So feel confident our items are what we say they are.  We sincerely appreciate all our loyal eBay customers and continue to look forward to serving you.    Best Regards,   Gerry & Marty Vogel Should you have any additional questions, requests for additional pictures, or problems with shipment please simply click on "ASK SELLER A QUESTION? in the upper right hand corner of this listing or you may give us a call at:  740-358-2964 (Cell)  or  740-392-5855  (Home)
