ANTIQUE ENGLISH STERLING SILVER VICTORIAN DOUBLE INKWELL~INKSTAND   Antique Sterling Solid Silver Inkstand hallmarked for 1889 London.  Featuring pierced ornate sides in a clover-leaf motif; the inkstand has open glass inkpots set inside sterling holders.  A large vacant center cartouche adds just the right finishing touch to the set made by W. Leuchars.  The tapered glass inkpots and sterling covers are attached to the base of the inkstand with tiny screws and bolts for removal and cleaning.    Hallmarks; W.L for W. Leuchars, Lion Passant for sterling, Leopard's head for assay town London, date mark O for 1889.
