Actual silversmith is unknown but seller has included a photo of their marks. The maker's mark appears to be a highly scripted H B & H with a Star. Seller could hazard a guess as to the maker, based on what she found online, but will refrain from doing so since seller could be in error. Service for six settings. All marks are clearly stamped. The weighted handles have the appearance of sterling. The STAR in the maker's mark may be indicative of sterling. Each side is engraved with the fluid lines characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement. Each is marked. Where the handle meets the hilt: several pieces are marked HH and on others the mark is faint. The HH appears on the backs or the fronts without any particular pattern to their placement. There may have been a monogram removed long ago in the area below the hilt and before the beaded handle. Seller is not a silver expert and even with a loupe if there was a monogram it has been obliterated. There are traces on several pieces which resemble two roman numerals V I  found in those areas. Each implement is stamped H B & H. One fork on the handle as these numbers added [my  vendor's inventory number(?)] 28 2310 50 13 There are 6 tiny dents between the 12 implements along the sides/margins which are the size of the head of a straight pin. There are 6  dents, the size of a pinhead, on the faces or the backsides on the handles between the 12 implements. There are no repairs seen by seller and no pits. Each fish knife is 9 1/4 in length and weighs 64.7 grams. The blades show marks from normal use. Whether these marks would buff away on a jeweler's buffer is unknown to seller who makes no warranty to that effect. Each fish fork is 8 1/4 and weighs 58.5 grams.  One thing is certain: regardless if your taste is to utilize them in the American style or the Continental these pieces are a lovely addition to any table. They sell with a complete satisfaction guarantee~ should buyer decline them upon receipt then seller will happily take them in return. Buyer will have a 5 day right to inspect and approve the Service. Return postage would be the buyer's responsibility. The set is beautiful and a bright silver.  The photographs' colouration has been manipulated and toned down for your more careful inspection.
