Description newportdog store This is a very old and lovely set of silver, not sure if solid silver on handles and silver on copper; or Sheffield silver and parts sterling, but I know I bought it in the northern part of Ireland several years ago because I just fell in love with its aesthetics. Wonderful form, delightful chasing and usuable. It polishes swiftly and lovely. It is my gut feeling it is a very heavy plated silver content of copper with sterling parts. I cannot guarantee, I looked up all kinds of marks....to no avail because my two sister in laws swear it is sterling. It has a registry mark, perhaps a smart and kind eBayer will inform me what it is so I can  pass it on. All the pieces are in nice condition, one, THE TEAPOT has a slight dent near bottom and you have to look for it, but does NOT affect the beauty. It truly is a beautiful set. The coffeepot measures 9" tall and 8 3/4" from handle to spout, the teapot measures 6" tall and 10" from handle to spout wide, the sugar measures 5" tall and 6 7/8" from handle to handle; the creamer measures 5" tall and 5" wide from handle to handle. All the finials are in nice condition, nothing missing or loose. Please feel free to ask any questions, happy to oblige. I am selling this as a beautiful antique set and I do guarantee its old.
