This piece is composed of three separate sections welded together. The rim of the bowl features detailed flowers. The bowl features pierced images of diamonds and clovers on alternated pierced panels. The base matches the pierced design of the bowl with the additional of hand chased leaves. The underside bears the stamp of the maker, but it is very hard to read. This piece was purchased at the shop of  "Thomas' Jeweler's" on London's exclusive Bond Street.  The center of the bowl bears the hand chased image of a heraldic lion holding a maltese cross.
