It is silverplate on copper and is so marked. Its graceful, pedestal form is accented with  two scrolling side handles, a grape vine border and a chased interior. It is large, measuring 12" wide at the handles with a diameter of 10 1/4" and a height of 4 1/4" excluding the handles, big enough to be a salad bowl but grand enough to stand alone as an ornament. The grape vine border is very detailed and the chased interior is an added bonus as most bowls have plain interiors. It is in excellent, vintage condition. There is no loss of silverplate, no dents and no heavy scratching. You will be very proud to display and use this fine example of early 20th C. American silverplate.
