Bay Area See more about 'American Coin Silver Four Piece Tea and Coffee Service' Description This beautiful four piece Coffee and Tea Service is made of American Coin Silver.  It was made by Jones-Ball and Company of Boston, Mass.  Circa 1852-1854.  The set is hand made and you can see the planishing hammer marks on the inside of each piece.  The Set consists of a Cooffe Pot-Tea Pot- Covered Sugar and a Creamer..  Each piece is topped with an Acorn and Leaf  finial.  There is a date January 1,1857.  There is a mongram M.R.G.  The entire set is in excellent condition  free of any dents,scratches or repairs of any kind.  There is applied beeding at the waist,under  the lis and at the base.  The Coffee Pot stands 11-1/4 inches in height.  The set weighs 92 Troy ounces.  There is an exceptional piece of Americana.   Place a Bid!
