He was very skilled at his craft, evident in the high quality workmanship on this pot and the resulting lovely shape, wonderful wooden handle and lid knop (secured by a small nut inside the lid) and elegant gadrooning around the foot and lid edge. The underside is marked as shown below. It is in very good condition with no breaks or cracks, no dents, and only a few expected small scratches - the wooden lid knop has a small chip on the edge and a tight old age line, a common occurrence on old wooden fittings. It stands 10¼" tall at the knop, 7-1/8" wide from spout to handle, and 4-5/8" at its widest diameter, with a 3-5/8" diameter foot.
