The fluted sterling silver handle caps decorated with repousse laurel leafs and berries and scrolling acanthus leaf on a finely textured ground. The ferrules, also with a textured ground, decorated with repousse floral swags. The set produced in Paris, 1900, by Campenhout Fils with the finest French .950/1000 sterling silver handles and steel blades. there is some minor oxidation to the steel blades, and some minor signs of use on the handles. A design so simple and exquisite will brilliantly accompany any number of fine flatware sets. Please see photos for dimensions and marks. The set comes in a well worn box.
