The set includes 6 spoons which measure approximately 7 1/8 inches long and  6 forks which measures approximately 7 1/8 inches long. The set has a nice weight to it of over 500 grams or 16 troy ounces. This is a rare or unusual set of french flatware in that it bears the hallmarks which were introduced in July 1879 for Export 800 Silver. I do not know the name for the pattern for this set; however, I do know that a matching pattern was made by Emile Puiforcat (please see my other listing for Puiforcat Flatware). In my research I found that Henin & Cie and Emile Puiforcat had worked together and this pattern appears to be one of those collaborations - please see the photo provided showing both a large and small fork and spoon - the smaller 2 items are from this Henin set and the larger 2 items are from the matching Puiforcat set that is currently up for auction (the larger spoon and fork are not included in this auction). I do not know if Henin & Cie made this set for both the domestic as well as the Export market, but I do know that Puiforcat made their set for both markets as I have both a piece of their Export (800) and Domestically (950) hallmarked silver sitting right in front of me. In any case this set is in good condition with only minor signs of usage and will work well on its own or as an addition to the matching Puiforcat set.
