Bakhtiyari is located between two mountains in near Isfahan in central Persia. The rugs that come from these two mountains are different kind of Bakhtiyaris and they are different in weave. This particular one is from Shalamzar tribe, which is the most rare one especially in runner; this is the first Shalamzar runner that I have seen. It measures 3’-7”x11’-8” and is in excellent condition, low even pile all over with both ends intact, also all dyes are natural.
