Description rokas Store  For sale very fine antique English STERLING SILVER tea, coffee set. Made in SHEFFIELD, GEORGE IV style. Each piece is  with lovely  RAISED MELON body resting on 4 hoof - like feet.  Ebony wood handles.  Great design and perfect craftsmanship is evident here on this meticulously executed  sterling silver George IV style tea set. Perfect re-creation of a Georgian era.   Made from heavy gauge silver with thick panel fluting and  smooth finish. The cream jug is  5 3/4" handle to spout, 3 3/4 H, weighs 200 grams. The sugar bowl with lid 7 1/4" handle to handle, 4" H, weighs 350 grams. The wast bowl  is 5" wide, 2 3/4" H, weighs 220 grams.The teapot is 11" handle to spout, 6" H, weighs 670 grams. The coffee pot is 10" handle to spout, 8 3/4" H, weighs 760 grams. The samovar / hot water kettle with stand & burner(solid sterling silver also) is 9" wide, 13" H, weighs 1350 grams.Entire set is made from exceptionally thick, heavy gauge sterling silver. The 6 piece set weighs around 3550 grams or 114.52 Troy Oz.Set is in excellent condition. Looks like  little if ever used.  Teapot  and coffee pot handles are firm and  secure.
