Made by Tallois and Mayence (1907-1928), this set comprises 4 piece place settings for 6: dessert or hors d'oeuvre forks and spoons, fish forks and fish knives. The decoration is simply spectacular! The fish set is magnificently engraved and chased with dolphins and fishes on the business ends of the pieces. All of the pieces are opulently decorated with rocailles, trellises, foliage and flowers. Truly an amazing, unusual and special set! There is a monogram on these pieces: the letters "MB". Circa early 20th Century. Condition is pristine. No signs of use, no flaws. See pictures for dimensions. Total weight for the set is 1378 grams. It is possible to get these made today in Paris!
