The piece is chased and hammered from a single piece of silver, the masterful performed by James G. Seton (please see Pristo's book on Martele silver). Weight just shy of 55 1/2 oz. Dimensions of salad bowl 12 5/8 inches long by 10 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches high. Elaborate 'JMLB'(?) monogram.
