We know rugs and describe them to you to the best of our ability. Our rugs are not cheap recently made rugs from Iran or China but are genuine antiques from the estates of collectors in the US imported from the Middle East in the early 1900's, we do not sell old rugs from EUROPE. Description: This is a good semi-antique Persian Seraband Oriental rug runner from the 1950's in good condition with mostly even pile. There are some lower areas in the center. The foundation and pile are 100% wool. The sides are complete and the ends are missing a few minor rows. The runner is in a rare wide size. Colors: Blue background with ivory border and red, rust, pink, pumpkin, brown.
