The set was appraised in 1980 for $9700 and it was estimated that the set was carved between 1800 and 1850. The amber has been tested and is 100% pure with no flaws. Each horse on it's base stands 9" tall and 10" long. The set was purchased in then Communist China in the early 1940's by my parents who were world travellers and have been in the family ever since. This is truely a magnificent set and are priced way below appraised value. We will ship by UPS and insure at your expense..but we will not be responsible for damage.
