Both superbly decorated with scenes of a high ranking Chinese lady, probably an empress accompanied by attendants, one with her sitting at a table and the other an outdoor scene with her on a horse; both with very well modeled bat handles highlighted with gilt. Each has a different inscription on the front with a seal mark, both with a matching two lines inscription on the backs and matching seal to the bases. I have tried to research the seals to no avail, but possibly are examples from one of the Eight Friends of Zhushan, I believe dating to around the 1930’s.   Measuring about 13.75" tall and 6.5" in diameter and is in excellent condition. After being overwhelmed with offers and interest when these were originally listed last weekend they were removed to consider options and are now being re listed with our typical $20 start with no reserve; please do not message me with any offers as the auction will be left to run its course.
